The SnakeReader comment on item: Tariq Ramadan Gives Up – Then Tries Again Submitted by Arlinda (United States), Jan 24, 2010 at 14:34 This is another "Ole Cowboy" story about a snake and a kindly cowboy: On a cold night on the prairie a cowboy was settling in for a night under the stars. As he pulled his blanket over him a snake cried out, "Please, please Mr. Cowboy let me sleep with you under the blanket. It's so cold I'm shivering. "Oh no you can't" said the cowboy. "Please help me" said the snake again. "I can't let you sleep with me. You'll bite me." "No I won't," pleaded the snake. "Your kindness," would make me so happy and I'd be so warm I'd never harm you." "I'll die of the cold." "Please, have a heart." The kindly cowboy felt sorry for the poor cold snake and let him sleep under the banket with him. Next morning the cowboy woke up and realized that the snake had bitten him. "I was nice to you and you promised me." "Why did you do that?" said the outraged cowboy, "Because I am a snake," said the snake. President Obama wants Americans, whom he has sworn to defend and protect to sleep with terrorists and those who promote terrorism. Why? Because he wants us to love them as much as he does and if we sleep with them maybe they won't kill us.
