Recep Tayyip Erdogan has always been a 'Jew-Hater'Reader comment on item: Erdoğan Bares His Fangs Submitted by Samir S. Halabi (United Kingdom), Mar 1, 2010 at 04:50 Turkey and it's satellites states during the time of the'Ottoman Empire' gave many Jews sanctuary from their expulsion from Spain in 1492, many turkish diplomats interceded in the rescuing of Jews from the hands of the nazis in France and some other countries, enabling those jews to come under the protection of Turkey (all be it in many cases most of those jews were of Turkish origin etc.) Today in Turkey the situation doesn't bode well for the Jewish Community eversince this right leaning islamic government took office in 2002. Recep Tayyip Erdogan infact was always a 'Jew-Hater' this is unfortunately something which isn't new news. I can only pray that I hope that in the not too distan future the military will take over and punish those Islamists ie. Erdogan, Gul and partners for trying to drag down into the gutters all that the late Kemal Mustapha Attaturk made possible ie. a modern secular Turkey which safeguarded and protected all turkish people encompassing all their faiths.
