And Americans beware - your charity rating agencies bless charities complicit in thisReader comment on item: The Palestinian Authority Celebrates Terrorists Who Killed Israelis Submitted by Rob Stevens (United States), May 4, 2010 at 08:48 Speaking of Mughrabi, as Charity Navigator, for example, ignores the underlying value of groups' activities when they assign their ratings, they award their highest ratings to some charities that are linked to terrorism. The public, unfortunately, usually takes these ratings as gospel. Charity Navigator gives 4 stars to American Near East Refugee Aid that supports and incites terrorism. To wit: Dalal Mughrabi is the woman terrorist who participated in the murder of 36 Israelis and an American nature photographer, Gail Ruban, in 1978. A girls' high school named for the terrorist - "The Dalal Mughrabi School" - is being renovated with money from USAID - through ANERA (American Near East Refugee Aid). US money - with Charity Navigator's highest endorsement - is helping to support an educational structure that is inherently promoting terrorism and glorifying the murderer of an American. [Reference: http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=3278 and http://www.charitywatch.org/toprated.html#peace] Another example is Palestine Children's Relief Fund. [see http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=6421 and http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/221]. For another example, the Muslim American Society receives three stars from Charity Navigator, not withstanding that MAS was identified by federal prosecutors in a DOJ appeals court brief in a terrorism-related case as "the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America", a group dedicated to the destruction of the US. Worse, when I brought this to the attention of Charity Navigator, they basically told me to take a hike.
