Try looking at it this way. When ever it seems that we meet a wall or some obstacle to overcome we can find a new way of thinking that will turn the wall or obstacle into an opportunity for advancement. We can overcome the obstacle with a bit of clear thinking. When ever there is a conflict it is an expression of paradox. Paradox abounds in the universe. It is simply a fact that we have to deal with in our sorjourn through space and time. Disagreements and conflicts occure because there is a percieved difference in objectives between two or more individuals. When the matter is presented in such a way that the objectives of all parties are brought to a common point of understanding then the paradox is resolved and the problem or the source of conflict ceases to exist and the reasoning behind the conflict ceases to be valid in application. It is only when one party does not see the reality behind the reasoning that a paradox persists and hence the problem which led to the conflict. Palestinians and Israelis have a common ground in that both in truth want to live their lives in peace within the frame of their own lights. It is only the outside influences that keep the whole pot boiling. Eliminate the out side influences and the problem will eventually resolve itself.

Of course I'm not talking about a war of annhilation, but I am talking about the eliminating of certain ways of thinking. There are certain kinds of ideas which people take for granted as absolute truth which have absolutely no basis in fact and since all men think and act according to what they believe to be true about themselves and the world surrounding these ideas become the real source of most conflicts.

But what would happen if people could be given the vision to see a greater truth than that which encompases their limited world view? Would not their thinking and hence their beliefs change to embrace the greater reality? I think it would. The thinking of the past has no place in our modern world. We must adapt to a greater and expanded reality in order to participate fully in the civilization surrounding us, else we will wither and die like the leaf which does not recieve enough sunlight. The choice is individually ours in actuality and we must each choose as individuals to embrace the greater reality or condemn ourselves to the dung heap of evolution. It's really that simple.
