The never ending story

I was raised with the notion that suffering was the lot of the Irish but that our greatest virtue was our willingness to endure in faithfulness to G-D. I think that as much could also be said for Jews if history is to bear witness. We share many common experiences in our sojourn through time. I know what it is like to be hated simply for the fact that I exist at all and at an early age I learned the meaning of prejudice first hand. I know what it's like to be made a non human. Such commonalities would seem to make us natural allies in the war against injustice and it is my own hope to forge such an alliance where and whenever I can. As G-D is ONE so humanity is one kind uppon the face of the earth. It is only through the recognition of this great truth that the ultimate dream of the Zionists can be realized.
