Get your facts straight...Reader comment on item: The Curious Case of Jamil Al-Amin Submitted by Nafesa Ahmed (United States), May 19, 2010 at 15:08 Please don't bring the words of God into this especially if its not PRECISE! Read the quran, learn about Islam and stop judging the religion based on the people. Nobody is perfect! Jamil Al-Amin has been repeatedly harassed, arrested, and thrown into prison for the last 35 years. In the 1970s, When he converted to Islam, and started a mosque in a large Muslim community in Atlanta's West End neighborhood the case was not only accounted by him but with rascism. ' he was smacked of vengeful racism -- not only toward Al-Amin, but also the Black and Muslim communities he represents.' Free Al Amin, changed man indeed!
