Imam Jamil Al-Amin one whom I personally know

I bear witness that there is no illa but Allah and that Prophet Muhammad is his last Messenger. I had the unique opportunity of knowing Imam Jamil who has always been a friend, mentor, businessman, father, brother and most of all an Imam who always "enjoined the right and forbidden the wrong" even when it was against himself! I constantly offer dua for Allah to grant him his physical freedom and to preserve him. He counseled me during difficult times and had always been a pillar of his community. I know this firsthand as i lived and prayed in his community .....if you want to know a person like i had the opportunity to then one should live amongst them to see for him/her self....May Allah continue to bless him and his family and count them amongst the righteous amin.
