The Land is Given to Whom the LORD Almighty God DesignatesReader comment on item: "Free Gaza" Flotilla Defeats the Israel Defense Forces Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jun 7, 2010 at 11:51 Have you not read what was written before? Have you not seen enough of the facts on the ground to convince you that what you are not willing to accept is a reality that you cannot ignore without losing common sense? You request, nay, demand proof of that which already exists, but you cannot bear the answer. You are programmed to deny that which was established before and will exist long after, and yet you require proof. Does Ajman exist? Or al Awir or Abu Dhabi, Dubai? You know they do. I have never lived more than 90 kilometers from where I was born for most of my life, and yet I know from the proof of others these places exist. So too, from the competent proof of others, the facts of Israel's rights to her land exist as well. Further yet, to the extent I have never been to the Middle East, the witness of belief is as much a part of this process of proof, for proof is in the belief of the evidence and witness. So then, what is the evidence that needs to be believed? First, what is Zion, and what does it represent to those who understand its place in time and history? To those to whom it is given to understand, Zion is a place of actuality and a reality underwritten by the WORD of the LORD, to Whom and for Whom Zion has its beginning and its foundation for eternity. In the Hebrew Holy Bible, the only reliable source for the practical evidence of such matters, we read that Zion, the place, was established by King David under the auspices of his obedience to the WORD of the LORD. But it is so much more than that. Read what the Holy Bible has to say: 1 Chronicles 11:5) And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shall not come hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David. 2 Kings 8:1) 2 Chronicles 5:2) Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion. Psalm 69:35) For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession. Isaiah 1:27) Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness. Isaiah 46:13) I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory. Isaiah 60:14) The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Then predicting Jesus Christ's first visit to His people Israel, we read; Zechariah 9:9) Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. Then we read of His fulfillment; John 12:15) Fear not, daughter of Zion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. 16) These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him. Then comes the understanding, that Zion is not so much a location, but a place where disciples of Christ are going to be focused on Him and His Kingdom; Hebrews 12:21) And so terrible was the sight, that Moses (of the Bible) said, "I exceedingly fear and quake:" 22) But ye are come unto Mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23) To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24) And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel. You, as do many others, require proof; yet belief in the proof is necessary to have its true validation. It is said by many that Muslims hold some form of reverence for Jesus Christ, yet they deny His Truth. It is required that a true reverence for Jesus Christ requires belief and faith in Him for salvation. Without it there is condemnation. Jesus Christ was born of the virgin, presented the Gospel and was condemned for His Truth; and was crucified and buried for His Truth. It is His evidence and witness that gives verification of the Truth of the Holy One of Israel, and of His ownership of Zion. Is there understanding yet? Zion belongs to the LORD of the Holy Bible; possession is given to them to Whom He designates and Israel is so designated. Israel returned to the land of their forefathers, just as the Hebrew Holly Bible said (is that not proof enough?): and that they would do so against all odds and acts of humanity to prevent it. The facts on the ground are that Israel is on the land, and there they are going to be when Jesus Christ returns to His own. Here then is your challenge, to have belief in this proof: to believe in the LORD Jesus Christ, or fall short by believing the lies of the'Palestinian' claim and find out why you will never see a 'two-state' solution or a 'Palestinian' possession of Zion, or anything other than the fulfillment of the Holy Bible as Israel becomes the center of the world and Zion the spiritual center in Jerusalem. So, the short answer to your question is that Zionists do not own the land, the LORD does; and He has designated Israel to be His tenant, from the first King David to the Son of David, and forever.
