Mordant Irony

Hmmmm. Let me get this straight. The land which gave us Hitler and the mehtodic tracking down of over a million and half Jewish children for the most ignoble of executions now is producing a party -- one which goes out of its way to NOT draw attention to itself -- that celebrates democracy in Israel and which chooses to be honest, without rocking the boat, about the designs of Islam in general and Islamo-facism in partcular. Thank-God for small favors!

America and the West European democracies are attempting (rather feebly) to close the barn door long after the horses have escaped. Demographically Muslims will in fact be the majority population in the USA and in the West European democracies in less than a half century. In these countries Sharia law will be given a position of privelege which will affect and transform, directly and indirectly, the populations of these countries. This battle has been lost before it is even joined for these countries.

What about Israel? The next ten years is a time of acute danger for Israel. It must be strong and brave and uncompromising. It should be quietly but ever so explicitly made clear to the Islamist enemies of Israel that the nuclear option really is an option. The Biblical figure of Samson should become emblematic in its interaction with Islamo-facism. Israel will not disappear from history without taking with it all the centers -- ALL the centers -- of Islamo-facism and the nations which support such. Never again in history will Israel have such a persuasive advantage. The next ten years are ctritical. Never again will the balance of terror be so overwhelmingly tilted in the favor of Israel. Use it or lose it and lose the Jewish people in the process.

The odss are better than even that one or more Islamist "Gorbachevs" will arise to the occasion. "Hashem" and Allah -- really two names for the same just as Sharia and Halakhah are, virtually and eventually, the same -- will emerge as the uniting banner of these two religions. The Biblical words addressed to Rebeqah by Hashem will be validated. (((Yes. Of ocurse. One knows. The clasical Rabbinic tradition made Essau emblematic first of Rome and then of Christianity. But the classical Rabbinic tradition was a done deal by time of the Hegria in 622. I love the Rabbis and stand with them. But they got this one wrong. Even God makes mistakes.)))

In other words, it's all in the hands of Israel. What's going in in Germany and the other Western democracies including the USA is a side-show. Welcome to the future.
