A Better Way

German political parties that promote "German peoplehood" usually portend ill for Jews. And if one religious minority is singled out for special attention, we cannot be far behind.

Here in America we have a better way. Religious liberty for all. Muslims along with everybody else can worship as they please and wear what they please. I wear a kippa (skullcap), they wear a burka, no skin off my back. We Jews can bring our internal disputes to a Jewish bet din, and Muslims can bring theirs to a shariah court. Muslims get enree into American society on the same terms as everybody else, and they acquire a stake in our system and are less likely to work for its destruction. If some do, then of course prosecute those individuals vigorously.
