Concern is widespreadReader comment on item: Germany's Freiheit Party Joins the Fray Submitted by Noel (Australia), Nov 3, 2010 at 17:29 Concerns over the concessional approach of liberal democracies to Islamism is a growing concern not just in Europe but also in Australia. Statements recently made by a liberal party member of the Australian parliment indicate this. "Lib demands sharia banking is kept out' http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/nation/lib-demands-sharia-banking-is-kept-out/story-e6frg6nf-1225946344169 The Liberal Party are not a minority in Australia, at the last election they recieved more votes than any other party in Australia, with the Labour party only forming a one seat minority government with a coalition involving a green, a left wing independent and 2 rural independents. Typically the labour party tries to dampen any debate on this subject with accusations of "cheap politics" anti multi-culturalism, and racist attitudes. However with outspoken and divisive Muslim clerics in Australia such as Al Hilaly (a holocaust denier) concerns are growing.
