Coalition change is a big pot boilerReader comment on item: Media Distortion about Israel - One Example Submitted by yonatan silverman (Israel), Jan 5, 2011 at 17:43 Even though observant journalists may interpret evidence of a possible coalition change in Israel's government as a possibility now, it is just a way to keep the pot boiling in the press in Israel. Various Labor politicians call for a change. Various Kadima politicians call for a change. But these are emasculated political parties. Likud keeps Labor in the coalition to maintain Ehud Barak as defense minister. Kadima is hopeless. It has nothing to offer anyone except noise. The present ruling coalition in Israel's government is stable and isn't going anywhere. Noise to the contrary just keeps the political pot boiling.
