Media distortionReader comment on item: Media Distortion about Israel - One Example Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Jan 6, 2011 at 04:27 Israel will always be the whipping boy as far as the media is concerned. Any distortions can be attributed to the sad fact that a large percentage of the world thinks that Israel is the monster of the Middle East, and anything that happens in the Knesset can and will be distorted. The media and press can be relied upon to stretch the truth or exaggerate statistics, invent rumors, cause chaos. In the case of Israeli politics, this seems to be an on-going problem. However, much of this is caused by Israeli politicians themselves. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
