Tunisia a la Iran!!! :: Reader comments at Daniel Pipes

Good chance that Tunisia will be going the same way as Iran under Khomeini!!! Is there any Tunisian Khomeini lurking around in the background who will emerge and immerse the country in Islamic rule? After all Muslims can take democracy only for so long. Just look at Turkey where Islam in government is being revived after it being "secular"( i. e., no Islam in the government) for all this time and also Iran under Shah.

Chances of Tunisia becoming totally Islamic are greater than imagined!!
