Deja VuReader comment on item: Turmoil in Tunisia Submitted by Peter Herz (United States), Jan 20, 2011 at 19:01 Time was when the people who screamed loudest for "democracy" and "human rights" were the Communists, those wonderful people who gave us over 160,000,000 human victims of purges, rectification campaigns, cultural revolutions, and other forms of "liberation" in the course of one century. And they gave us such lovely states as the German Democratic Republic and People's Democratic Republic of Korea. My suspicion is that Tunisia will quickly emerge as another state ruled by radical Islamicists. A few years later, we'll see a combination of emigration, abduction of young females, and mob violence put an end to one of the Arab world's last Jewish communities, too. Submitting....
