Oxymoronic "Islamists moderates"Reader comment on item: Turmoil in Tunisia Submitted by Pilar (United States), Oct 24, 2011 at 23:24 Oxymoronic "Islamists moderates" Moderate Islamist Party Heads Toward Victory in Tunisia To DAVID D. KIRKPATRICK, and the Oxymoronic "Islamists moderates" I heard this newly "Arab spring" invented fake term today by Diane Sawyer on ABC, as well. Why are we so romantically involved in this Arab Spring hype, when all non-Muslims are even more oppressed? The anti-Christian intensification in Iran, Egypt, Arab-Palestine are only part of the larger intolerance picture of the so-called Arab Spring. As Islamic bigotry grows, so is anti-Israelism. After all, what is that conflict (since the 1920s, by the Mufti) all about if not this horrendous motivation? Point is, just because there are even worse, radical Islamists, it still, doesn't make any Islamists, "moderate" or even "cute." Islamists' by [Sharia based] ideology are anti non-Muslims and anti-women. Are we really FOR human rights? Or are we just caught up in the frenzy up-to a shear dark blindness. Can you point to me anywhere in the wide "spring" Middle East (asides from real free, democratically, equal-rights-status Israel) where Christians are not discriminated against?
