I too

I was at basketball practice. The track coach came in and whispered in my coach's ear. He looked at us and said, "The Prsident has been shot. You need to go home." As I walked home cars were pulled to the side of the road. People were weeping. JFK was dead. All of our lives were changed that day.

I delivered early morning newspapers then and became politically conscious. Kennedy-Nixon, Loas-Vietnam, segregation-integration, innocence-cynicism...like Daniel, I question every Nov. 22..what if?

I too feel the tears well up and think of my father's face that day as tears fell from his eyes.
