Three Points and a Scenario

Dr Pipes has raised a many fine points on the Egypt situation,ending his thoughts with a recommendation of wise forward moving tweaking.I too have thoughts.1) I do think, in fairness to President Obama, we are torn between very imperfect leaders who are our friends,and enemies to be, possibly trying to replace them.The bet that Arab democracy movements will usher in an improved situation for them,or a worse situation for them and us, is a bit of a coin toss. No one,including me, has a real grasp on this.I would say that the "unity" of Egypts military bears close attention. I would say that meaningful female participation is a good guide of a secular democracy movement to come.

2) Make no mistake,our twitter, facebook, cell phones and email technology has a noteworthy affect in the worlds peoples and thus our foreign strategies.Our todays army will wear boots and work alongside bandwith

3) Syria and Jordan showed fear in lightening speed to the Egypt uprising, and to a different extent, Israel.4) Israels has to offer its people more than anxiety or naiivety.When offering a map to the Palestinians,imagine democracy or revolution sweeping away the one man show in Jordan. Imagine Jordan,by revolution or majority vote, changing its name to Palestine. Imagine what King Abdullah is now worried about. What territories under this scenerio does Israel think it should retain?
