Mubarak's army? :: Reader comments at Daniel Pipes

Did Mubarak really spend the 3 billion a year that the USA bribed him with on the Egyptian Army, or did he just put it into his Swiss Bank account?

Personally, I would have preferred that he receive nothing - but better it go into his Swiss bank than into bankrolling some new war.
