Multiculturalism and DenmarkReader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark? Submitted by Sayako (United States), Nov 17, 2004 at 03:40 Denmark's experiment in multiculturalism has many features common to all Europeans, as well as the Euro / white dominant nations of the North & South American continents, The most obvious items deriving from this realization are these :# 1 If foreign cultures were so culturally superior and assumed to contribute uniqe benefits to the West, why is immigration such a one - way street ? Why are so many third world people willing to risk their liveus to emigrate to the Western nations ? After all, you never hear about North African peoples risking boat trips across hazardous seas in order to arrive in China, do you ? Do Danes often fill out immigration / work permit / applications / passports in eager anticipation of finding jobs in the third world? Even the Chinese risk their personal fortunes and lives to come to the U.S. and Europe ( the Chinese will never admit, of course that their mercantile instincts would be better served in a Western nation, as opposed to their own cut-throat, corrupt, dysfunctional financial system and markets ). Isn't there a saying that goes : " build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door ? " People risk everything to come to Western nations precisley because that is where the better " mouse trap " has been built by Europeans ( ethical, political, social, and financial institutions ) through thousands of years of trial and error against nature and fratricidal warfare. Because this psychological, emotional need is so powerful and perennial ( i.e., they obviously enjoy this self - ongratulatory exercise) among the Europeans, they are easily manipulated solely on this basis by people smarter than they are. In fact, national and supranational aims of the global financial elites are greatly facilitated by the low level of intelligence of the European hoi poloi. # 2 The willingness of the West to allow massive immigration from the 3rd world is grounded on several factors : for the lower, ignorant classes ---- a surrender to multiple psychological battering rams ( accusations of racism , for example ) --- successfully used by the media ( television, Hollywood ), liberal University professors, the legal system, and chancellors to invoke a ( non existent & unjustified ) guilt deriving from European colonial adventures of the past century, and by incorrigible politicians on the take. This self - hatred has been carefully inculcated into the tabla rasa of European children, especially in the last 40 years. Moreover, it is fed by the European propensity for the intellectual, narcissistic ideals of multiculturalism ( probably inherited from the vain, snobbish Napoleonic era -- liberte, fraternite, egalite , yada yada yada........as well as falling victim to the " Huckleberry Finn " reverse psychology syndrome -- ie, let's have a contest to see how clever we are recruiting others to do the work for us and then convince them to voluntarily fall over the cliff like lemmings for their own good ! Note that their hungry, rabid need for moral self-esteem outstrips the brutal reality of unalloyed - life events ( these cowardly, hypocritical Euros have been inexplicably silent when African tribes committed genocide against each other -- as they do in Sudan in present times, -- as opposed to their loud, hysterical condemnation of the previous South African regieme ). In the same vein, these Liberals are careful never to mention the many other nations who are very strict on immigration policy and yet enjoy unprecented economic success and high living standards ) . For the American educated upper classes, on the other hand -- this is a moot point -- that is, no matter what turmoil, societal distress, or polarization their immigration policies may instigate, they are safe behind their moated castles, living in idyllic bliss behind their gated communities and reaping untold wealth from the constant labors of the ignorant masses ( just keep them narcotized by television entertainment ). # 3 As a member of the European family, the Danes have fallen for the stupendous hoax of multiculturalism ... and gradually, only now are they realizing what a stupid, irreversible mistake they have made... Of course, their " man on the street " is in denial and can never admit that their nation screwed up on a permanent basis. Whatever happens in the future, not only the Danes, but all Europeans -- will have to reap what they sowed. Unfortunately, it is their children who will bear the brunt of the dysfunctional society which their parents have created -- not that they cared about future generations in any case, of course.
