Totally agreeReader comment on item: The Emptying of Yemen Submitted by disillusioned (United Kingdom), Jun 12, 2011 at 12:54 I totally agree with your post, I live in London, and there are real tensions. The left wing atheists are sleepwalking into a catastrophe, and taking us all down with them. Christianity is now a thing to be mocked and derided, and yet these non-believers are bending over backwards to accommodate islam in all its forms, I just cannot understand this, do they think Allah is fashionable? I see with my own eyes islam encroaching into all walks of life, and all areas, the burkha and full face veil are becoming increasingly common, I feel like a foreigner in many parts own city and I do not live in the East End of London, I live in West London. Tensions are rising in the working class areas, not just in London, but up and down the country as we are still in the grip of economic downturn, and resources are scarce, however muslims have been unofficially ring-fenced against major cuts so as not to upset their sensibilities. As you can imagine the indigenous population are not happy at the injustices. I am afraid for our future, I can foresee civil war, civil unrest is already occurring in parts of the country and wherever muslim involvement (which is mostly) there are media blackouts so as not to imflame the situation. As Tony Blair signed us into Europe against the majority of anti Europeans we are heading into bedlum. Would Europe allow a civil war? would they send in troops to quell any uprising? People are waking up to the islamist threat, what a terrible shame are leading elite do not share the same concerns. At the moment they are talking in sound-bites, trying to appease the country by insisting immigration is going to be cut drastically, but it is too little too late, there is no point closing the stable door once the horse has bolted.
