If Ms. Rodham Clinton Only KnewReader comment on item: On the Eve of Turkey's Elections ... Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jun 14, 2011 at 11:51 Question: who should have more to fear if the second flotilla attempt (Mavi Marmara Redux) provokes an all out confrontation that that the enemies of Israel are hoping for? Is that reason enough for Turkey to adopt a more diffident attitude towards Israel, in essence defining its willingness to be in combatant alliance against Israel? More importantly, is Turkey willing to admit defeat when it has exhausted all its efforts and will have lost not only the battle, but the war? Is that really what Turkey wants? And how much sleep does anyone think the current American Secretary of State is going to lose if Turkey loses? By the way, since Turkey did not learn Syria's lesson, Turkey will not be alone when they find they should left well enough alone. Changing perspective, the Gaza hostilities are a result of Israel's mistake, of letting go of Gaza in the first place. A battle victory of the enemies of Israel by allowing exposure where Israel needed it the least, many are going to find that Gaza is Biblically postured to be the means by which Israel's Almighty Sovereign is demonstrating His preference of Israel over the rest of the world. The fulfilling prophecies of that very fact are in place, and are operating as the world watches; yet seeing, does not see. So there will be no confusion of the reality, Turkey was named before there was a Turkey to be just exactly where Turkey now finds itself. There is a wonder now if those in Turkey's election really knew what they were voting for.
