Syria v Turkey

With a jaded eye it is easy to see that there are and always will be unresolved tensions between many contiguous Islamic states. Indeed it seems that they can agree only on hatred of Israel and the US.

In an international sense ongoing intra-Islamic aggression may be considered instructive, for what better, more obvious a lesson in bad behaviour could there be... than neighboring countries of similar ethnic heritage unable to live with each other? Leadership, or lack thereof, is the only reason such animosity could be so prevalent.
