Is this a new Erdogan?Reader comment on item: Turkish-Syrian Tensions Flare Anew Submitted by batya dagan (United States), Jun 19, 2011 at 22:56 For the first time in a long time Erdogan gets good press. He is not an angel and has plenty to answer for but shooting and killing your own people is not one of his sins.I was very impressed with his humane treatment of the Syrian refugees ( real refugees not people appointed to play ones)and his scolding of Bashsar for murdering his own people. He seems to have changed his feelings about terror or maybe he did not mind it as long as it was againt Israel.I hope that this new look at terror will help him stop hurting the Kurds and maybe even make him more sympathetic to Israel who suffers from terror that lives and breathes in Syria.
