Not innocentReader comment on item: Empower Iranians vs. Tehran Submitted by Joe Six-Pack (United States), Jul 25, 2011 at 08:38 Of course America has much blame to accept about Iran. We SHOULD have declared war against Iran in 1979 and ended it there. And we all know about how the U.S. and England handled Iran during World War II and afterward. However, you can't leave out ayatollah Khomeini and that ideology. He has had a great deal of impact and therefore should properly get plenty of the blame. All of this really doesn't matter all that much if Iran nukes Israel. It is like blaming the United States for Pearl Harbor for opening Japan to the world in the 1850's. Please note, Iran may NOT nuke Israel, but you certainly can't blame the U.S. for Iran's support of Islamic nationalist (terrorist) organizations that do launch acts of war against how many other countries?
