Watching for the Underlying CircumstancesReader comment on item: Declaring a Palestinian State, Yet Again Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Aug 9, 2011 at 15:05 So, let there be an assessment without the 'politico-religious' undertones, as you have done. Yet, even as there is an agreement that the circumstances are ripe for the secular observation that September 2011 has all sorts of forbidding possibilities in the region, if one is to fully understand how the entire influence of the United Nations will be brought to bear, only to be answered by something they have not taken full stock of – Israel will not go quietly into the sea. They did not in 1948. Neither was their destiny decided in 1956. And certainly in 1967, no one in the world at that time could have imagined the Arab agencies embarrassment of losing more territory than advanced upon. Then again, in 1973, 'circumstances' thwarted the attempt to push out Israel. Are they just merely 'circumstances'? One need not agree with the 'politico-religious' undertones of what is about to happen; but when they do happen, watch the 'circumstances.' They should prove quite interesting and one may find they have to rethink the 'politico-religious' undertones, for religion shall have lost.
