Two State Solution

It is my understanding that concurrent with the creation of Israel, the UN mandated the creation of an additional Palestinian state named Jordan in 1948. Ciitizenship was to be guaranteed to both peoples in either state, yet the Jews were dispelled from Jordan whereas "Palestinians" were allowed to remain in Israel to worship freely and remain there as citizens to this day, even serving in the governement. How many Jews serve in the government of Jordan and how many synagogues are there in Jordan?
