Good article, one glaring error.Reader comment on item: Assessing Qaddafi Submitted by Ian McVay (Canada), Aug 30, 2011 at 08:03 Gaddafi was "the world's longest ruling head of state"...er, not even close. Gaddafi ruled Libya for 41 years; Queen Elizabeth has been the head of state in the UK [and elsewhere] since 1953...that's 58 years and counting. This is a common [and understandable] error for Americans to make since the US is one of the few democracies on Earth where, for better or worse, their head of government and their head of state are one and the same. Submitting....
