Libyan rebellion was instigated by meddlesome Western powersReader comment on item: Assessing Qaddafi Submitted by Bamaguje (Nigeria), Sep 8, 2011 at 14:20 "It took an incident in Tunisia to cause the Arab world to all of a sudden wake up." - Jaques Hadida The so-called Libyan revolution had little to do with Tunisia, but was instigated by France and meddlesome Western powers. See: http://www.voltairenet.org/French-plans-to-topple-Gaddafi-on http://wsws.org/articles/2011/mar2011/inte-m28.shtml Contrary to what the lamestream Western media would have us believe, the Arab uprising is primarily economic not about the hyped "freedom & democracy." Hence oil-rich Arab countries are not affected, except Libya where armed rebellion (not unarmed civil protest as in other Arab uprising) was instigated meddling Western powers. See the above web pages. No surprise therefore that the rebels were so weak as they lacked true popular base. Even with supportive NATO bombardment, it took them 6 months to reach Tripoli. They even required NATO/Qatar troops & advisers to take Tripoli. And these cowardly weaklings who can't do anything by themselves want to run Libya with all her fractious primordial clan rivalries. Chances are that post-Gaddafi Libya will end up like post-Saddam Iraq, or even worse - Somalia!! Submitting....
