Is Obama worse than Usama?Reader comment on item: Obama's Misplaced Mideast Optimism Submitted by john w mcginley (United States), Oct 25, 2011 at 11:25 Arguably. Not since the Carter Administration has our country lost such prestige and standing in world affairs. And Obama's adminsitration has been more deletrious relative to Amercian interest than Carter's. Jimmy Carter was woefully misguided. Obama, however, is a real threat for America's future. The man is narcissistic. He will do whateever it takes to get re-elected. This includes doing the showey engagements with foreign opponents (the strategic value of which is minimal) to woo voters from the center to support him yet again. ((The Republican circus going on now actually makes -- in Vegas parlance -- Obama the odds-on favorite to win in 2912.)) A second Obama term would be disasterous for our country and would bring woe and great sorrow to Israel. Freed from the constraint of having to get elected, Obama will show his true colors. It could really be a horror show. Republicans who care about America ought ot start coaslescing around the candidate most likely to beat Obama in the election rather than holding out for this or that "ideal" candidate. Full disclosure: I fell hard and early for the unifying rhetoric of Obama in 2007/2008. I ended up voting for him, even though by that time i had twinges in my stomach about the man. I now know that he is little more than a narcissist who wouldn't mind crippling our country in order to get re-elected. I imagine Dante has a special place in the inferno for fools such as I.
