"Obamas Misplaced Mideast Optimism " as Dr Pipes suggests, is quite correct. It falls into the category of seeing flowers in winter. And Dr Pipes has cited his examples. More worrisome is Obamas misplaced policys that lead to consequences. For instance,by not taking a more active role in Libya, we didnt "exactly shape" their future leader and didnt set as our priority the destruction of what now seems to be 1,000 missing dangerous missiles . For instance by strong arming Israel on day one, it appears Turkey felt more comfortable booting Israel for this and that, and gave the Palestinians reasons to think unilateralism and no's are A -OK. And for instance someone,somehow gave missing arms to Mexican unknowns that were used to kill an American law official. What to think about a pre election total withdrawel from Iraq? As things stand now , Ira(n) is but a letter away.
