Agreement with Daniel Pipes foreign Assessments; Disagree with opinions about Obama

When American troops leave, Iraq will implode into a civil war resulting in a Shi'ite South, a Sunni Midsection and a Kurdish North. Turkey will not accept a Kurdistan, so the civil war will turn into a regional war involving Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Iran and possibly other nations. Where Erdogan will stand in all of this will be very interesting.

When NATO and American troops leave Afghanistan, warlords &/or the Taliban will return to again run the country. American policy there can be best achieved by reversing roles and using (paying) surrogates to fight the battles on a hit and ru n basis.

Mister Pipes is a conservative Republican, who never met a Democrat with whom he has agreed about domestic policy or presidential candidacy..
