My answer to Mr.TedReader comment on item: 'Palestinian-ism' is only a Muslim tactic to help destroy the Jewish state Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), Jan 4, 2012 at 02:16 Wish you a very happy and prosperous 2012 , Mr. Ted. "He should know that unlike his darling Islamic world, the rest of the world knows how to resolve discords without murders, bombing, suicide bombings, and beheadings." My Answer ---> I want to mention here that the person who murdered Itzak Rabin was certainly not thinking about solving the matters through peaceful means and he was certainly not Islamic. When you talk about people like Meir Kahane and Baruch Goldstein surely they were not trying to solve issues through peaceful means. If you look at recent mosque burnings in both the West Bank and Israel proper certainly it is not peaceful means that solve these issues. Let us face this fact. Israel's secular demographics does serve in the IDF and invest in the high-tech sector but they do not go on to produce many children. Israel's ultra-orthodox produce many children but instead of learning secular sciences they prefer to engage in full time Torah studying and very few of them are fans of the Zionist idea of Israel itself. The Israeli secular elite from the time of the Atheist Ben-Gurion have decided to provide the ultra-orthodox with perks like state-sponsored full time Torah scholarship and settlements on Palestinian lands so that the ultra-orthodox are not aggressively against Israel itself. Recent events in Israel regarding dress codes of schoolgirls and involvements of women in IDF show us that these differences are getting increasingly difficult for the Israeli ruling secular elite to cover up from the wider world. A realistic look at Israel's neighborhood will show you that the Saudis and the gulf Arabs are more or less tolerant of Israel , Hezbollah , Hamas , Jordan or Egypt do not possess sufficient military prowess to destroy Israel and neither do Iran and the Syrians. So ultimately Israel's greatest threat comes from within i.e. the historically unresolved dispute between the ultra-orthodox and the secular elites. Read this here. Israel's future depends not on what Tehran , Damascus , Beirut , Cairo or even Washington thinks. It depends upon internal Israeli matters and that is the most significant thing that Americans can ignore only if they are naive or stupid. Period. Submitting....
