People of EgyptReader comment on item: Reflections a Year after Hosni Mubarak's Resignation Submitted by andre (South Korea), Feb 23, 2012 at 00:40 With all of the internet access and western news channels, are there not enough people in Egypt who want to live differently and have a democratic uncorrupted rule? It used to be really hard to start a revolution, now all one needs is a facebook page. We must deduce from the lack of opposition to the military rule that either the people are largely uneducated and ignorant, or they are of the commonly islamic fatalistic mentality to be ruled over and accept their fate as the will of Allah. or both.
