Looking at Obama without Rose Colored GlassesReader comment on item: How Barack Obama Sees the United States Submitted by Susan H. Somerville (Israel), Sep 4, 2012 at 15:33 I am delighted that Professor Daniel Pipes has videoed his interview with Dinesh D'Souza. Far too many voters are enamored with Barak Obama, his youth, his energy, his Harvard law degree, and his ability to articulate his thoughts at a fairly high level. He is a super salesman! However, there is a lack of reality in viewing him through rose colored glasses, and certainly a great danger. It reminds me of a kind of "mob psychology," especially when multitudes of people vote according to the lists that they receive via the postal service. Or for some people, following their friends and/or the New York Times, these people can see no other course. However, as Pipes said, Obama's background of relationships does count for something. Let's remind ourselves of not only Obama's ties to Rashid Khalidi, but his Bill Ayers/Bernadette Dorn connection, (People should know who the Weathermen were and for what they stood.), the Jeremiah Wright connection, Obama's not so hidden ties to the vicious Farakhan, and the fact that Obama's grandfather chose one Frank Marshall Davis as Obama's mentor. (This man was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party; but then the naive both know nothing about communism/totalitarianism and nor do most of them care. America in 2016? G-d helpl us!
