Capitalism is what makes the world go round, HavasReader comment on item: Another Islamist Assault, Another Western Cringe Submitted by sara (United States), Sep 19, 2012 at 19:27 Havas, here are my answers below: You say: why do you laugh sara? I laughed that you were condemning anyone besides Muslims, who are going around right now killing in the name of their religion. ı think insulting to any humans belief and culture is extremely disgusting but also it is a terrorist act to kill innocent ambassadors . two very bad and ugly things from two sides. Insulting is disgusting and offensive but in our culture it does not warrant a death sentence or threat, In our culture it is allowed because we think it is important in a free society to have the right of speech and expression, even if others might not like it. It is a cornerstone of our democracy. there are two kinds of muslims in the world. one kind which ı belong in considers islam as a inner struggle to be a good human.peaceful life and who can share what he-she has. and thats all. this kind of muslim is strongly against capitalizm and huge differences of life standards in the world. nobody mus be homeless or hungry. so we dont like americans economic system at all. but for example we respect the real owners of america , native americans very much. we want a peaceful world. also a great respect to nature is needed. Well I am glad you are one of these Muslims, but I have two problems with your statement. First, you cannot judge American capitalism as if no other country (tries) to practice it. If not for capitalism, the anti-capitalists and socialists would have no economy from which to take funding from. Second, As a Turk I find it amusing that you would be critical of American colonialism when Turkey/Ottomans have had a history in it themselves. I will not go off topic and mention Armenian genocide, but since you bring up native Americans, well they are doing a lot better than the Armenians did I think. second kind of muslims are the ones who kill and burn and do wild things. they dont understand anything from islam. they only try to follow the life of thousands years ago the same way. that has nothing to do with islam. for me atheists are better humans than them. the poorer the country and less freedoms they have , more you find this kind of muslims there. because they show themselves more, people think they are the majority. but they are not the majority. if a human is more educated and can live in freedoms he can be a good muslim and good human. but americans must also question themselves why they are so much hated in most parts of the world. dont simply assume that they are not liked because muslims are inferior people. for example think what kind of terrible thing is a raping a married ıraqi mother by more than 20 american soldiers or seeing american soldiers pissing on ıraqi mens corpses and getting very little sentences for these criminal acts. Unfortunately it is not enough for you to just be done with Jihadists and fanatics by dismissing them with, they are not real Muslims. But even here you manage to blame their horrific acts on America, so there we are. You believe that America is the real culprit and the poor Jihadis are just responding to that. Needless to say, we do not agree. I am not sure why you guys continuously focus on these snapshots of perceived persecution or insult and replay them on TV or other media over and over and over if not to get riled up and foment hatred. We do the exact opposite. We did not show the mutilated bodies of our soldiers being hung and dragged through the streets,or other atrocities committed on us. We do not consider that a good thing, to foment hatred. That said, you can be certain that if someone breaks a law or commits a crime, they are taken to jail and given a trial. That is our system. always. As for the raping that you guys are for some reason obsessed with, I have not heard of it and it sounds like Muslim propaganda (perhaps you are referring to the movie Redacted that was made with ACTORS??) and more of this incitement and hate stuff that eventually results in mobs of crazed Muslims burning flags, signs, and themselves. But it did make me think of the horrifc rape of the US ambassador and the need to sodomize perceived enemies. Perhaps that's why you guys have such a reaction, perhaps you can explain the cultural implications of rape in your society and I will understand it better.
