1001 Nights

Mind you, having read some of the unexpugated 1001 Nights in translation, I can affirm that many of them are obscene. The versions usually published in the West are either bowdlerised, or else contain the non-obscene stories eg Ali Baba, Sindbad, Aladdin etc.
