Israel at Peace.Reader comment on item: Israel at Peace Submitted by Nenette Grunberg (United States), Dec 20, 2012 at 18:27 Dear Dr Pipes I just finished reading again your historical explanation about The still common situation of War and Peace between Israel and its official future neighbour. As you wrote certain Middle Eastern States were able to come to the formation of peace treaties because their citizens matured /aged and became tired of war. This is very true. These became mature societies that were still alive to be able to comprehend the importance of living. What will the (Hamas-Fatah-Hezbollah) have to show for ? How will these youngsters grow into mature age and be tired of war when they died by being used as terrorsits, as shields where the three parties mentioned hid behind which produced the destruction of one generation after another of the future Palestine. For the Western and Middle Eastern societies to envision a two state solution you must have future generations and while Israel's population will keep growing a more and more brilliant population the triumvirate will have a dead society to show for. Dead men. Dead women.Dead children.
