"We will never forget"

TONY JONES: But you say this as if all Palestinians were the same.

DANIEL PIPES: No, of course not. Eighty per cent, I'd say, of Palestinians believe that the destruction of Israel is a worthy goal. Some 20 per cent say, "No, let's just live our own lives apart." What we need to do is focus on getting that 20 per cent to be 30, 40, 50 and 60 per cent, rather than focusing on negotiations.


Daniel, In a smilar vein, what percentage, would you say, of Islam's followers believes the ultimate destruction of the West is a worthy goal, and given the foot dragging by the Left in this country against Bush's anti-terrorism agenda, does that point to our ultimate defeat?

At the site of the World Trade Center there was a sign, WE WILL NEVER FORGET. To me it seems that in three years at least half of us have forgotten.
