"Invaded Viet Nam" - ? What a joke!Reader comment on item: What Planet Does John Kerry Live On? Submitted by kman (United States), Feb 8, 2013 at 21:52 The US merely lived up to its treaty obligations with the South Vietnamese after they were invaded by the Marxist North Vitenamese Viet Cong. Not content with the treaty the North signed allowing those who preferred communism to live (incarcerated more like it) in the North and all others to live in the South. The ruthless brutality of the Northern regime far eclipsed any wrongs of the southern "dictatorship". The Viet Cong entered peaceful southern villages and assasinated their leaders and anyone else with an education - see the drift? A "popular" revolution is forced at the point of a gun and then you accuse the US of "invading"? The US left under pressure from leftist/Marxist groups planted in our university campuses and aided and abetted by a media long ago bought off by interests anything but "national" but heading powerfully in its bought off and clealry biased directions of today. As for Iraq & Afhagnistan, I long ago saw the writing on the wall there as carefully calculated "interests" pushed in the usual One World and Marxist directions. Though there were excellent reasons for going into all three nations, we can always count on the press to totally ignore them while digging out fleas and hangnails that support abandoning anything that promotes freedom and righteousness in the world. ...
