Israeli-Turkish relationships VS Israeli alliance with Greece , Romania , Bulgaria and Cyprus!!!

Reader comment on item: Futile Israeli Efforts to Win Ankara Back

Dear Mr Pipes,

It is obvious that Turkey seems to be a strong ally in the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean region. But whose ally? From time to time, ever since the first World War and of course the second World War , the Turks have proven that they respect only their own interests. And for the last four years , it got worse.

The Turkish state , always aggressive towards its neighboring countries always being spoiled by Nato , always being generously supplied by Nato equipment and know-how , it is now being run by people who consider themselves "protectors" or even "patrons" of Islam. Turkey is ruled by people who have no fear of saying out loud, that they are going to create a new "Empire" that will embrace all muslim people of their region or even around the world!!!

They use their own nation's fanaticism and hatred to stay in power and I don't see how any appeasement policy towards these leaders , will get them out of power.
