I do not know about you guys, but I am scaredReader comment on item: Islamist Assassinations in the West Submitted by NuritG (United States), Feb 26, 2013 at 21:16 I do not know about you guys, but I am scared. Andrew C. McCarthy wrote an article 'Twenty Years after the [1993] WTC Bombing' by Sheikh Abdel Rahman. "The World Trade Center bombing was Islamic supremacism's declaration of war on the United States," sadly, we are today more willfully blind to the reason we were attacked in 1993. Back then our ignorance was an excuse. We gave a pass to our homeland's seeming invulnerability to the scourge of jihadist terror. Hassan al-Banna, Muslim Brotherhood founder and another iconic supremacist, proclaimed, "It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated." Do you hear this?! Do you get it? The mission of Islam is always coherent and always the same: to impose sharia. The rationale of Islamo-ihadist terror is to diminish the West resolve to resist the gradual erosion of freedom and the relentless demands of the Islamists — especially, Islamists of the Brotherhood variety. While poseurs such as John Brennan — President Obama's counterterrorism czar and the nominee for CIA director — distorts the meaning of jihad, Islamists and their fellow travelers know exactly what it means and they seek not merely to suppress us by intimidation but to criminalize us by law our objective examination of Islamic supremacism. We've gone from willful blindness in 1993 to coerced silence on Islam; Islam has shut us up; Islamo-sharia mandates to suppress negative criticism of Islam by any and all means necessary, including killing the objectors. Remember my friends, freedom cannot defend itself. It requires vigilant defense by culturally confident people who see their heritage of liberty as worthy of passionate defense. Ask Victor Hugo who write Les Misérables. The Sheikh Abdel Rahmans of the world do not lack for cultural confidence, we, the West do. The political correctness we adopted as our culture wiped out all that we THINK we stand for. It has shaken our confidence to its core. The Sheikh Abdel Rahmans of the world see themselves as winning — they've seen it that way every day for the last 20 years, and going stronger each day.
