True, Islamists threaten to kill Ayaan Hirsi Ali. But it was the Dutch neighbors and the Dutch government who deserted her. Her neighbors felt intimidated themselves in the vicinity of her safehouse. They successfully used legal means to make Ayaan leave her house. At around the same time Dutch minister Verdonk revoked the naturalisation of member of parliament Ayaan Hirsi Ali. The reason: Ayaan had given a false name when she applied for Dutch citizenship in order to protect her family in Somalia.

I cannot blame the muslims for the cowardice of the good people left, right, across the street, in government and on and on.

Last time she gave a talk at Leiden University I missed the occasion. Next time I'll be there. I wonder what Ayaan feels when she reads "assassinations in the West".
