Another problem with Islamism

Dear Dr Pipes, your comments DNM's comments are quite correct: Before these flawed ideologies become irrelevant they indeed do a lot of damage. I will like to add another point. While there are similarities between communism and Islamism there is a fundamental difference: Communism never hid under a religious umbrella. In the fight against communism the local churches were with the forces of freedom. Unfortunately, the fight against Islamic fundamentalism is not going to be that easy because fundamentalists will have the Mosque (non-separation of church and state was the intentional or unintentional genius of the founders of Islam). I think the true fight against Islamic fundamentalism will come from women who 1) suffer as wives by losing their freedom and choices and 2) also suffer as mothers by losing their children in suicide bombings and other fratricidal activities.
