From a prophetic outlook your words will ring true in Judeo/Christian observationsReader comment on item: Support Assad Submitted by Lujack Skylark (United States), Apr 14, 2013 at 16:06 I think you are right about a rebel victory against Assad would only strengthen the radicals in Turkey. I am looking at the situation from the Jewish prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel's own words. (1) Damascus will someday be destroyed. (Isaiah 17:1) Then Russian aligned with Iran, Turkey, Sudan/Ethiopia, Libya and other radicals would after a short time when Israel becomes prosperous with their natural gas and oil explorations trying to live in peace is when the Ezekiel chapters 38-39 prophecies take place. (1) A Sunni rebel victory over Syria will lead to a war against Israel (Psalms 83) where the Arab Sunnis armies will be crushed. The world's nations will be crying for peace. All of the land of Israel in Judea and Samaria as well as Gaza will be Jewish land. The Arabs remaining will be forced to live in Jordan the real Palestinian homeland. Israel will then be living in peace and security. (Ezekiel 38:11) (2) Turkey and Iran along with Russia will be jealous of Israel's prosperity. Russia will figure if Russia controls Israel's natural gas and oil supplies Russia could control the world. Russia is always on the side of Israel's enemies as time has proven. (3)Israel's enemies will be violently defeated by God who will have the Russians and their allies turn their weapons upon each other and God will magnify himself with this victory. (Ezekiel 38:21-23) (4) The crisis does not end here. Israel will burn their enemies weapons for 7 years. (Ezekiel 39:9) Israel will build a Jewish temple in Jerusalem. A world ruler will come into the temple proclaiming himself to be Israel's God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4) The temple will be polluted with paganistic rituals as the Jews who love God will flee to Edom, Moab and Ammon. (Daniel 11:41) (5) This evil ruler by peace shall destroy many. (Daniel 8:23-25) (6) Russia's destruction will be replaced by the Chinese who build an empire in the east. (Revelation 16:12) The Chinese and the Europeans lead by their evil rulers shall hold domination over the entire world eliminating people's personal freedoms. Christianity will be outlawed and Christians will be beheaded for their testimony. (Revelation 20:4) (7) The Lord Christ who was pierced (Zechariah 12:10-11) will be mourned for at Megiddon. The Lord Christ shall fight against all nations coming against Jerusalem. (Zechariah 14:2-9) (Revelation 16:16) The evil man from Rome which represents the great city (Revelation 17:18) shall engage with the kings of the earth to fight the Lord (Zechariah 14:2) and the Lord Christ (Zechariah 14:9) wins victory and the world shall call him by one name. I do believe the situation in Syria does have prophetic implications and we see a decline in the United States as a superpower setting the stage for the prophetic developments as the Jewish prophets have mentioned.
