Why don't Jewish people stick up for one another?Reader comment on item: Mainstream Jewish Institutions Celebrate Anti-Zionists Submitted by Sarah in Canada (Canada), Apr 15, 2013 at 23:11 I never cease to be horrified by the lack of loyalty Jewish people have towards their own. I can't think of any other nation/race that is so quick to openly attack their own and back up their enemy. I am horrified by Jews who openly criticize Israel and back up the 'palestinians' and Arabs. How can these Jewish people be so disloyal to their own. You would never in a million years see an Arab organization devoted to criticising Arabs and supporting Jews and Israelis. In my own day to day life, I often see the same lack of loyalty amongst Jewish people in my community who would sooner support any other nationality before they support their own. It is ironic because I think many other nations believe that Jews stick together, but that has not been my experience as a Jewish person. Unfortunately, I think that there are many cowardly, weak Jewish people out there who want to appear positively to other nationalities and will openly attack their own people. I am a child of a holocaust survivor, and am disgusted by the lack of loyalty of my people. I totally don't understand why, and if anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate having a better understanding.
