downfall of Nazism

Pipes makes the observation that Nazism failed to live up to its promise to usher in 1,000 years of rule by the Reich as if that is some consolation that Islamism will ultimately fail as well.

Nazism did not fail on its own accord. It was not reformed. It had to be defeated at a great cost in WWII.
