Religious Christianity was Reformed Once - True Obedience to Yeshua is the BasisReader comment on item: Can Islam Be Reformed? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jul 12, 2013 at 17:27 What the Guardian of Deen attempts to do here is the same as so many have tried before, not only in this lifetime, but so many lifetimes ago; and all that is succeeded here is that the corruption he tries to blame upon Christianity/Judaism are the same fables that were perpetrated at the foot of the cross at Golgotha. Yeshua HaMashiach said there would be days like this; and He was as right then as it is right now. Guardian of Deen attempts to say; "[It] is not Jesus who found Christianity as it was not Moses who found Judaism; yet like others, this statement fails for its lack of true scholarship. A lawyer might counter; who actually said that for the first time and where is the basis of its scholarship? Conversely, if the narrative recorded that Yeshua told the crowd in the witness of His own words that the first duty of man is to love Almighty God; should we not believe that? If it is correctly understood that is a commandment of Almighty God that we should love Him; are we not compelled to obey? Yet we know men (indeed all of mortal mankind) have a real hard time loving Almighty God. Why is that again and where is it written? Continuing, if the narrative recorded that Yeshua told the crowd in the witness of His own words that the next duty of man is to love his/her neighbor; should we not comply? If we abide in the first duty, the next duty should come naturally. Again we know men (indeed all of mortal mankind) have a real hard time with that one too. The record shows that mere mortal mankind's entire history is replete with disobedience to Almighty God –all have sinned and come short of the glory of Almighty God. Guardian of Deen pins his argument on the conflicts of divergent 'doctrines' of Christianity, neglecting to discern that not all who claim Christianity follow the precepts of the true WORD of Yeshua HaMashiach. It is further alleged by the Guardian that the fundamental basis of the original church was not by Yeshua's actions; and yet it was by Yeshua's proclamation in the record that His true Church was indeed founded with the original apostles after Cephas declared a fundamental truth, that Yeshua was/is HaMashiach. Guardian of Deen further undergirds his argument on the conflicts of divergent 'doctrines' of Christianity by making a false allegation of Saul of Tarsus' actions being anti-Christian; again an age old obfuscation of the record and reading "What did Jesus Really Say" is quite evident in its participation of diverting from truth and spiritual reality. Some might read it if they must, but the Hebrew Holy Scriptural record does stand for itself, as does the words of Yeshua. Now, having spent so much time on this, here is the repeated admonition. "The Holy Quran is the main and major source of ruling in Islam;" that is easily conceded here. "All previous doctrines such as Christianity and Judaism Shari'a Laws preached the same values as the Muslim Shari'a Laws at one time…," does not have a valid basis for a complete argument since there are no documents that indicate the first part of the Hebrew Scriptures had any implications of shari'a and the Brit Hadassah makes no innate reference that the Word of the LORD needs any changes. There is no basis at all for comparison of the Quran and the Hebrew Holy Scripture; only contrasts can be made and there are plenty. And to stretch a point further, Christianity already went through a reformation, not to change any existing truths, but to return in revival fashion to the basis of all truth as spoken by Yeshua HaMashiach and His prophets, disciples and true witnesses. All else will be and is emergent in abject rejection of the truth of the Hebrew Holy Bible and the predicted apostasy is in full display for those who know what to look for. It is no longer something that is mere prophecy: strange as it may seem, the presentation made by the Guardian of Deen is evidence that the Holy Bible is as true as it ever was and its WORD to the wise is being fulfilled as this is being written.
