i agree. have went to sweden for the summer this last summer, and being asian i was treated not like an american even though i was born and raised in america, but treated like a slave low life. My boyfriends swedish family was patriotic and made it clear i needed to do their fika dishes since they left it in the sink for me to do then his mom would bitch if i didnt do them, and his dad asked me to hang the laundry over the front yard to dry instead of using the dryer when i was doing THEIR laundry. I was trying to be anice american house guest but they just talked shit about my country, told me how great sweden and swedish girls are, asked why my bf is not dating a swedish girl, and got angry and called me a gold digger cus he paid for ONE ticket to grona lund amusement park for me (since women pay for their own there). Sorry to say but i met his friends in the country side and they are so racists to muslims and asians i felt so bad! We dont treat people like that in America, and the BULLYING is horrible. Its sad to think, but I also even had one swedish guy come up to me and chat about how he thought asians were ugly "no offense, swedish girls are hotter." ok do you know everyone asian in the world? please stop being so ignorant. i thought sweden was a HIGHER established society. So disappointed,. By the way this was in Torsaker and in Gavle, Storvik and Stockholm.
