A non-Jewish approach

Dear Mr. Pipes,

I comment on ONE excerpt from your article ONLY, namely

"Accordingly, and with a heavy heart, I call on the free-Pollard advocates to cease their efforts until a president with an understanding of American interests comes to office. (February 23, 2014)"

Any TORAH JEW (or even a Jew who knows just a little about Judaism) will tell you that G-d is STRONGER than any American president. Let me quote from a newsletter prepared by Dov Elias (you do not know him but it's immaterial):

"Master of the World! Help me have sincere emuna that You are all-capable, that you can transform darkness into light..."

On the other hand, any good journalist would remind you about the release of such Soviet Jews as Natan Sharansky of Ida Nudel (you can add some other names or ask for help if the matter of Soviet Prisoners of Zion is not familiar to you) even though the Soviet authorities had told them many times, "You would never leave the USSR!"
